Resorts World
Las Vegas

F E A T U R E

BACKGROUND

In 2011, Steelman Partners began working on Resorts World - a Chinese-themed project that would last a decade in the office before breaking ground on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 and finally opening in June of 2021. Located on the northern end of the Strip, it stands as the most expensive resort ever built in Las Vegas, costing a whopping $4.3 billion.

MY ROLES

I worked on a variety of projects during this decade including storytelling, branding, media relations, and signage as well as concepts for both the interior and exterior design teams.

While the architecture was being erected, a 1300 ft long hoarding wall was built along Las Vegas Blvd to announce the project (and keep unwanted parties at bay). The property’s Malaysian developer, Genting Group, is known for its properties in the Americas, Malaysia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the Bahamas... but because it was new to Las Vegas, the hoarding wall became an opportunity to let people know of its worldwide presence.
